FIXING MY KITCHEN

My place of pleasure…

Cooking brings me pleasure and my kitchen is obviously the source of that pleasure, I would rather call it a wonderland. I’m passionate about kitchen to such an extent that if I get one last minute to live I will definitely spend it in my mini kitchen. I never let anyone of my siblings step into the kitchen but they never spare a moment to annoy me, actually what I hate the most is the mess they make in the kitchen.

This is what it looks like when someone other than me enters the kitchen to do the chores and leave it all messed up.

When it comes to my kitchen ,my family calls me a clean freak because I always want it to be clean and tidy with the utensil being in their place, sink being clean and wiped properly and everything being where it is supposed to be.

So now it’s dinner time and it’s mandatory for me to clean and fix everything, particularly the sink area before starting off with the cooking process.

And this is what my sink area looked liked before,

When you are cooking, the sink area needs to be clean and tidy because an untidy and dirty sink affects the hygiene of utensils and other tools of the kitchen which ultimately affects the hygiene of food being prepared in it. So before starting off with cooking I actually washed all the dishes and let them dry for 10 minutes because keeping the wet dishes in the cupboard is never a good idea. After the dishes and all the utensils had dried, I placed them all in their respective cabinets and stand, cleaned the sink and wiped it dry.

So oddly satisfying, isn’t it?

I’m totally vibing with this collage of before and after pictures, it’s actually giving me inner peace.

Kitchen being my favorite place , a place where I do what I love the most, needs to be taken care of and cleaned sanitized too considering COVID_19 .I never feel tired or bored with my kitchen and cleaning it always brings me pleasure and it is something I keep doing multiple times in the entire day without anyone asking me to do it, as I said above I always want it to be clean whenever I enter my kitchen and surprisingly/funnily, you will always find me in the kitchen.

One of the perks of looking after my kitchen is that I may not have complete authority over it but still I can make all the changes I want in it moreover I have the responsibility to keep it all fixed up because with authority comes the responsibility and to be truthful, I enjoy every bit of it. ❤
